Jaeger....

Saturday night we got a call from the Kennel. Jaeger had become rather lathargic and the Vet Tech at the Kennel was very concered for her. So she took Jaeger to the UC Davis Vet ER. By the time Jaeger made it to the ER she "crashed". Her heart rate dropped and they had to begin CPR. They had her hooked up to an EKG machine as well as an IV. We came home and picked her up from the ER first thing Sunday Morning. Apparently she has some rare blood disease know as Addison's Disease. Her adrenal glands don't work properly. She will require pills for the rest of her life. We expect around a $1,000 vet bill. Which makes our trip down the coast the most expensive weekend trip we have ever taken!

We took some pictures of Jaeger when she came home. It is really cute. The vet shaved her in 5 places and has some bandages on her legs from the IV.





She is currently laying on Trisha's lap enjoying a nap. She seems to be a normal puppy, with the exception of being exhausted.
