Our New Car

Yesterday, Jamie sold the last major thing he owned before we got married. Yesterday we finally sold the Camry. Ironically, we did not set out yesterday to sell the car. We were actually looking at new lease options for the Highlander since our lease runs out in a few months. Our secondary goal was to look at the new Camrys and Camry Hybrids in order to EVENTUALLY replace the Camry.

But we didn't buy any of those cars. We actually got a good deal on a fully loaded Prius. It has a built-in navigation system, bluetooth (which is a new thing for me in a car), and gets 45 miles per gallon. Although it's about a foot shorter than the old Camry in length, it still feels roomy when you sit inside. It even works on a keyless system, meaning that as long as you have the key on your person, you can start the car without having to put any key in an ignition.

I haven't had a chance to play with many of the features, but I'm really looking forward to getting used to it!
